Digitalization in Naval Engineering – A New Paradigm in Ship Design

“…Since digitization is one of the major vectors of transformation in the industry, it is essential that it is also directed to the efficiency of the Ship Design.
In order to support the creation of a digital ecosystem where all areas of digitization are combined, it is necessary to create a favourable framework in which companies and regulators have the resources to ensure the adoption of new interaction models…”

The debate took place at the Auditório da Sede Nacional da Ordem dos Engenheiros, Lisbon on December 13, 2019.
