Vera Navis and Sandock Austral Shipyards Announce Strategic Technology Partnership

Vera Navis, the largest firm of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers in Portugal, and Sandock Austral Shipyards, the largest Shipyard in Southern Africa, are pleased to announce a groundbreaking Technology Partnership Agreement.

This strategic partnership brings together the expertise and strengths of both companies, aiming to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of Sandock Austral Shipyards. Vera Navis will introduce cutting-edge European technology in Engineering, Manufacturing, Estimating, and Project Management, while Sandock Austral will leverage its competitive cost South African manufacturing base and 50-year shipbuilding track record.

The partnership will focus on joint marketing initiatives to secure export orders from key markets in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. This collaboration will enable both companies to tap into new markets, increase their global footprint, and deliver high-quality, innovative solutions to their clients.

As both companies are owned and managed by Entrepreneurs this brings an agile and flexible mindset into the business model which is unwavering in its commitment to be a Customer Centric partnership.
