Flap Gate Commissioning at West Sea Shipyards

After years of design, engineering development, construction, and extensive testing, we are proud to announce the successful commissioning of the new flap gate at the West Sea new dry dock in Viana do Castelo.

This milestone represents a significant achievement in naval architecture and marine engineering, delivered by the VERA NAVIS Ship Design team, in close collaboration with West Sea.

From the initial conceptual design to the finalized engineering solution, our team addressed a unique set of operational, structural, and technical challenges to develop a reliable system capable of supporting critical ship maintenance and repair operations.
