At Vera Navis Ship Design, we decided to follow the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) on how to protect workers against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
In the past two weeks, we have been preparing to operate normally with a work at home policy to limit the potencial spread of infections and maintain our personal safety.
Since Monday, March 16th, we have guaranteed productivity and health 100% via remote work.
Let’s keep our business continuity processes, our society functional and our near ones healthy!
Stay home! Stay safe!

“…Since digitization is one of the major vectors of transformation in the industry, it is essential that it is also directed to the efficiency of the Ship Design.
In order to support the creation of a digital ecosystem where all areas of digitization are combined, it is necessary to create a favourable framework in which companies and regulators have the resources to ensure the adoption of new interaction models…”
The debate took place at the Auditório da Sede Nacional da Ordem dos Engenheiros, Lisbon on December 13, 2019.
Pedro Antunes, Co-CEO of Vera Navis, gave a brief presentation on this subject:
Why do we model?
Current approach, Current trends and Future trends.
We received the Técnico Solar Boat to learn about their future goals for the new season 2019/2020.
Vera Navis love to be part of such an incredible project and continue to support these engineering students at Instituto Superior Técnico that work together on the development of a solar-powered boat to participate in worldwide university competitions.
